Major League Baseball Umpire Camps Mission
It is the mission of Major League Baseball Umpire Camps to provide quality non-profit training for umpires at all levels. Not only will the demands of umpires' plate and field work be addressed, the attendee will receive: conditioning, nutritional, equipment and safety instruction to enhance his or her experience.

The Major League Baseball Umpire Camps offer umpires at all levels the chance of a lifetime by providing the services and expertise from the best umpire evaluators in the world and former Major League Baseball umpires. In addition, Professional Minor League Baseball (PBUC) supervisors bring their expertise to round out this fantastic staff. Whether you want to improve your skills at the amateur level or you aspire to become a professional umpire, the 2008 Major League Baseball Umpire Camps offer everything you are looking for!
At the 2008 Major League Baseball Umpire Camps, you will improve your plate work, improve your positioning for plays on the bases and improve your situation management skills with state-of-the-art instruction at a state-of-the-art-facility built by Major League Baseball. Attendees will also receive conditioning, nutritional, equipment and safety instruction. If you take pride in your work as an umpire, make the modest investment to improve your umpiring resume. Seven attendees from the 2006 camp are currently working in the Minor Leagues, and eight more from 2007 will receive scholarships to attend Professional Umpire Schools in January 2008. Eight more 2007 MLBUC attendees have just been assigned to work in PBUC assigned professional leagues this summer!!
