The D-backs Baseball Academy, presented by Phoenix Children's Hospital with participating partners United Healthcare, SUBWAY® and Zoyo Neighborhood Yogurt, is the official year-round baseball and fast-pitch softball instruction division of the Arizona Diamondbacks. A variety of camps and clinics are offered throughout the calendar year, hosted at facilities such as Chase Field, Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, Phoenix Children's Hospital as well as local parks throughout the Greater Phoenix area.
The D-backs Baseball Academy, now in its 15th season, has taught thousands of kids to "Learn to Play the D-backs' Way!"
To ensure quality instruction, enrollment is limited to a 1:10 ratio of instructor-to-student. In fact, you will often see smaller group sizes to provide the best possible learning environment.
Each camp day and session is highly choreographed to maximize participation and activity time. Our instructors are handpicked by the organization from a group of former professional players, as well as the best local collegiate and high school coaches. Fast-pitch softball camps are instructed by collegiate fast-pitch standouts.
Ever dream of making it to the Big Leagues? Imagine getting drafted, signing a contract, and reporting to Spring Training as the newest member of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Imagine walking into the locker room and seeing your name on your uniform hanging in your locker. Imagine spending a week among such stars as Steve Finley, Luis Gonzalez, Mark Grace and many more. Imagine the stories you'll hear and memories you'll make.
Turn that dream into a reality by joining us January 10-16 for Arizona Diamondbacks 2016 Fantasy Camp! Whether for yourself or as a gift...treat the ultimate D-backs fan to the ultimate D-backs experience.
Elite Player Development Group Hitting Sessions include one hour of hitting instruction from the D-backs Minor League Player Development staff in the covered batting cages at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale. There are currently no dates scheduled, please check back.

The tryout and training will be held at the D-backs Spring Training Complex, Salt River Fields at Talking Stick in Scottsdale. The goals of our team programs are to develop players on and off the field, educate them as to the process of being recruited/scouted and encourage them to be leaders in their school community. Our focus will be on the access to our organizational resources, education and development in a competitive environment. We play baseball the "D-backs Way," with an aggressive style on the field, and with a professional approach to the game. Our offseason training programs allow for personalized development under the watchful eyes of our Player Development staff.
The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation and the D-backs Baseball Academy would like to recognize outstanding youth players, coaches, and dedicated team volunteers in the community on a monthly basis during the 2015 season. One youth player (ages 6-18), one youth coach (up to high school level), and one sports team volunteer will be selected from submitted nominations. Selections are not based solely on athletic achievements, but reinforce the D-backs philosophy that it is "More important to be a Major League Person, than Major League Player."
Monthly winners will be invited to a D-backs game to watch batting practice from the field and recognized during a pregame ceremony, receive a personalized D-backs jersey and four D-backs lower level tickets to the game on their day of recognition.
