The Braves own or manage roughly 14,000 parking spaces near the ballpark, but it's important to note that how fans will access these parking lots is very different than what it was like at Turner Field. For the easiest and fastest commute, all fans are encouraged to buy their parking in advance.
Are you an A List member? Buy your parking in advance. Glanced out your office window at some beautiful weather and decided to head to tonight's game on a whim? Buy your parking in advance.
By getting your parking in advance, not only will you be able to access your lot quickly and easily, but you'll also save money by enjoying our advance purchase price.
While purchasing in advance will make your commute to the ballpark easier, if for some reason you don't buy parking, there are five lots that will accept credit card payment upon arrival as long as space allows (no cash will be accepted). Those lots are Braves North 29, Braves East 31, Braves East 35, Braves East 41, Braves East 43.
The Braves will be able to offer roughly 14,000 parking spaces on game day. This is more spaces than we own or lease at Turner Field. Parking is distributed 360 degrees around the ballpark, making SunTrust Park's location is greatest asset. The Battery Atlanta also plays a vital role in showcasing the strength of the ballpark's locations, offering activities that will attract fans to come early and stay late. In addition, each parking lot at SunTrust Park and The Battery Atlanta will have its own street address, making it easy for fans to get directions via GPS.
The Braves and Cobb County are committed to working with independent parking vendors in the area to help provide a multitude of parking options for fans coming to the game. The organization has a long history of working with private lots around Turner Field, and that will continue at SunTrust Park.
Cobb County and the City of Smyrna have established procedures to help manage those interested in providing private parking. As of March 21, five independent lots have completed the permitting process and will be able to offer an additional 1,000 parking spaces in the area. It is important for any potential parking provider to apply for a permit so lots can be incorporated into the broader transportation management plan.
In compliance with ADA guidelines, the Braves will offer dedicated parking for fans with disabilities on a first-come, first-served basis that feature vehicles with a valid, state-issued disabled parking permit or license plate. Additionally, drop-off areas for fans with disabilities will be marked throughout the area.
