May 9 - NBC News 11Alive, Atlanta Braves Education Nation

NBC News' initiative, Education Nation, is going across the country for a series of local events and town hall meetings and conversations to discuss the state of education in America. "Education Nation On-The-Road" will stop in Atlanta for a week of conversation and events that will bring together educators, community leaders, parents, students and many others.

As part of the festivities, the Braves, NBC News and 11 Alive WXIA are teaming up to present Beyond The Diamond at Turner Field on Wednesday, May 9 from 3:00 - 4:00pm. The Atlanta Braves Backstage Pass allows fans to gain special access to Turner Field and get an intriguing glimpse into a side of the game beyond the diamond. This special access tour will begin in the Braves Museum & Hall of Fame at 4:00pm and last approximately one hour. Visitors will gain special access to the BravesVision Control Room to see the nerve center of the giant scoreboard in centerfield. In addition, guests will learn the secrets of what goes into a day of big league field preparation that allow teams to play their best. Tour participants will also learn the history of the stadium, team and gain access to various areas including the clubhouse, Coca-Cola Sky Field, the press box, broadcast booth, dugout, Scout's Alley and the Braves Museum Store. May 14 - June 2 - Jerseys Off Our Backs Online Experience Auction

Win the opportunity to meet an Atlanta Braves player and a game worn jersey directly off a Braves player's back through the Atlanta Braves Jerseys Off Our Backs Online Experience auction. Winners will receive two tickets to the June 15, 2012 Braves game versus the Baltimore Orioles and have the chance to receive their authenticated, autographed, game-worn jersey from a Braves player during a special presentation following the game. June 16 - Braves Family Field Day

Bring your family for an experience of a lifetime at Braves Family Field Day presented by Publix Super Markets at Turner Field. Participants will have the chance to learn the fundamentals of the game and receive batting, fielding and pitching tips during a unique clinic hosted by Braves players!

The event also includes a panel discussion with the players in attendance, lunch, and a behind-the-scenes tour of Turner Field. For more information, visit braves.com/fieldday.

June 17 - Prostate Cancer Awareness Day

The Atlanta Braves Prostate Cancer Awareness Day is set for Sunday, June 17 when the Braves host the Baltimore Orioles at 1:35 p.m. The day honors those who have courageously battled prostate cancer and raises funds to support research, education, advocacy and free services for cancer patients and their families throughout metro Atlanta. June 27 - 28 - Braves Wives Toy Drive

The Braves Wives will collect new and unwrapped toys in Monument Grove from gates-opening until the end of the first inning. The toys will be distributed to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta locations during the Braves annual Christmas in July hospital visits. Fans who donate a toy with a minimum value of $10 will be entered into a drawing for unique Braves autographed memorabilia.

June 30 - July 1 - Equipment Drive

The Atlanta Braves and the Baseball Tomorrow Fund have teamed up to collect new and gently used baseball and softball equipment to benefit local little league programs. Equipment will be collected in Monument Grove from the time the gates open until the end of the second inning. Fans who donate will be entered into a drawing for unique Braves autographed memorabilia.

July 27 - 29 - Braves Foundation Weekend

The Braves Foundation will host its Foundation Weekend July 27 - 29 in the Hank Aaron Room located at Aisle 128 on the field level of Turner Field. Braves memorabilia, including game-worn Braves jerseys, autographed baseballs, game-used bats, photos, lineup cards, and many other unique and valuable items will be up for auction and available for purchase throughout the weekend.

August 3 - 5 - Atlanta Braves Youth Baseball Classic presented by Bank of America

The Atlanta Braves will host the annual Atlanta Braves Youth Baseball Classic presented by Bank of America August 3 - 5 at the Atlanta Braves Baseball Academy. Forty teams ages 5 - 12 will compete in the exciting pool-play style tournament, meet their favorite Braves players and watch the Braves take on the Houston Astros at Turner Field. September 15 - Brown Bag Bonanza

Baseballs autographed by current Braves players will be on sale for $40 throughout the stadium. Enjoy the element of surprise as you find out whose autograph you have received when you open your mystery bag. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Atlanta Braves Foundation.

September 16 - Breast Cancer Awareness Day presented by Publix Super Markets and WellStar Health System

The Atlanta Braves Breast Cancer Awareness Day presented by Publix Super Markets is a day-long celebration of survivorship honoring those who have courageously battled breast cancer. Survivors receive a free lower level ticket, commemorative Atlanta Braves Breast Cancer Awareness t-shirt, access to a pre-game reception with family and friends, and participation in "Walk in the Park," an on-field ceremony for survivors.
