Established in April 2006, the Atlanta Braves Baseball Academy is an eight-acre, signature youth sports complex located at the Villages at Carver Family YMCA in the heart of the redeveloped Carver community near Turner Field.

The Academy includes four fields funded by the Atlanta Braves, the MLB Baseball Tomorrow Fund, third baseman Chipper Jones, and Braves alumni John Smoltz, Mike Hampton, and Brian Jordan. The Academy also houses two pavilions, batting cages and a playground.

Hundreds of youth enjoy taking part in games at the complex each year including members of the Junior Braves/RBI Youth Baseball League presented by Delta Air Lines. In addition, the Academy serves as the location for the annual Atlanta Braves Youth Baseball Classic presented by Bank of America.
