Rico Carty
Rico Carty was born on September 1, 1939, in San Pedro de Macoris, Macoris, Dominican Republic. Carty was 24 years old when he broke into the big leagues on September 15, 1963, with the Milwaukee Braves. Rico was second in voting for National League Rookie of the Year in 1964, and played in the MLB All-Star Game in 1970. Along with the Braves, Rico played for the Rangers, Cubs, Athletics, Indians, and Blue Jays.
