The Baltimore Orioles Career Introductory Program is designed to gain experience and insight into the promotional aspect of game day operations for a Major League Baseball team.
The Career Introductory Program begins in April and runs until the end of the season. Specific areas in which a candidate may gain experience include Promotions, Productions, Marketing, Events, Community Relations, and Game Entertainment. Participants in this program are expected to work every home game for the 2016 season plus any additional non-baseball events.
The Career Introductory Program is open to any qualified candidate who has taken courses in Sport Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality or Primary Education. Completed resumes should be submitted by February 5, 2016 for the 2016 season. The individuals who participate in this program are paid and may earn credit, but are not eligible for benefits.
