A day of free activities designed for the whole family to honor returning military veterans. Part of The Patterson Foundation's Legacy of Valor campaign, the celebration is in partnership with Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida, Goodwill Manasota and Sarasota Military Academy.

The day's events will begin at 12:00 p.m. with a special ceremony recognizing returning heroes. Following the ceremony, an exhibition softball game will take place on the ballpark's main field. The contest will match local veterans against Sarasota celebrities, including politicians and local stars. Following the game, New York-based singer-songwriter Margaret Valentine will perform.

The day will also feature kid-friendly, hands-on activities including baseball trivia hosted by the South Florida Museum, an exhibit from Mote Marine Laboratory, and much more. The All-American Family Day concludes with a free concert by Grammy Award-winning artists, "America."

For the concerts, attendees may sit on the outfield grass or in the stands; however, no lawn chairs or high-heeled shoes will be permitted on the field.

Whether hosting youth activities, participating in charitable causes or partnering in efforts to boost the local economy, the Orioles are active in the region all year long, proving that their commitment to the club's southern home goes far beyond baseball.
