  COACH ... '71 - '98

  Berardino was a minor league manager in the New York Yankees organization in 1966-1967 and in the Boston Red Sox organization for 20 years between 1971 and 1998. Berardino also spent three seasons as a Boston Red Sox coach from 1989-1991. He currently works for the team as a Player Development Consultant.

• Dennis "Oil Can" Boyd

  P ... '82 - '89

  Boyd played for the Red Sox from Sep 1, 1982 - Nov 13, 1989. He won 60 games while in Boston and posted a career high of 16 wins in 1986. Boyd is best known for his crafty off-speed pitching and devastating change-up. Boyd is still playing baseball today and even up until 2009 was trying to run at returning to the Major Leagues.

• Al Bumbry

  OF ... '72 - '85

  Bumbry won the American League Rookie of the Year Award in 1973. He was later elected to the American League All-Star team in 1980.

• Jim Corsi

  P ... '97 - '99

  Corsi played for his hometown Red Sox from 1997 - 1999, pitching in the 1998 playoffs. He began his career as a relief pitcher for the Oakland Athletics and pitched in the 1989 World Series, best remembered for the Loma Prieta earthquake, which occurred prior to Game 3 of the series. He also played for the Florida Marlins during their inaugural season in 1993. Jim is a graduate of St. Leo University where he is enshrined in their Sports Hall of Fame.

• Brian Daubach

  1B ... '99 - '02, '04

  Daubach played for the Red Sox from 1999 - 2002 and was part of the 2004 World Championship team. His best seasons were in Boston where he averaged 21 homers and 75 RBI per year and gained a reputation as a "Dirt Dog" for his style of play. Dauber currently manages the Hagerstown Suns, the Class-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, where stand-out prospect Bryce Harper is currently honing his skills in preparation for a highly anticipated Major League debut.

• Mike Easler

  OF ... '84 - '85

  Easler played for Boston during 1984 & 1985 seasons. Easler hit for the cycle on June 12th, 1980. He was an AL All-Star in 1981. He also won the World Series in 1979 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. After his career in MLB, Easler played for the Nippon Ham Fighters in Japan for two seasons ('88-'89). Mike also served as the Red Sox Hitting Coach in 1993 under Butch Hobson as General Manager and served as the Dodgers hitting coach in 2008.

• Rich Gedman

  C ... '80 - '90

  Gedman was voted the American League Rookie of the Year in 1981. On April 29th, 1986 he set the American League record for putouts in a game by a catcher (20), the same game Roger Clemens set the Major League record for strikeouts in a nine inning game (20). The next day Gedman had 16 putouts, totaling 36 putouts in two consecutive games (most by any catcher.) Rich played for Boston from 1980 - 1990. He currently serves as the hitting coach for the Red Sox Class-A Affiliate Lowell Spinners.

• Dave Henderson

  OF ... '86 - '87

  Henderson played in Boston from 1986-1987. Known for his clutch ninth inning, two-out, two-run home run that tied Game 6 of the 1986 ALCS and gave Boston the opportunity to win the series. Dave also played for the Giants, Athletics, and Royals. From 1997 - 2006, Henderson worked as a color commentator during Seattle Mariners radio and television broadcasts.

• Butch Hobson

  3B ... '86 - '87, '92 - '94

  Butch set two Red Sox records in 1977 for a third baseman with 30 home runs and 112 RBI's. Butch was also the manager of the Red Sox from 1992-1994.

• Bill Lee

  P ... '69 - '78

  Lee holds the Red Sox record for most games pitched by a left handed pitcher (321). His 94 wins ranks 3rd highest by a Red Sox southpaw, and places him 13th overall in Red Sox history. Lee won 17 games in each of the 1973-1975 seasons. He was elected to 1973 American League All-Star team. Dec 7, 1978 Traded by Red Sox to Expos. Lee became the oldest player to win a professional baseball game at 63 years old (9/5/10 for the Independent League, Brockton Rox from Brockton, MA). Lee was inducted into the Red Sox Hall of Fame in 2008. Lee continues to play baseball competitively and regularly teaches the game to baseball enthusiasts of all ages.

• Frank Malzone

  3B ... '55 - '65

  Malzone played for the Red Sox from 1955 - 1965. In 1957, in his first full season with the Red Sox, he had a season-high 103 RBI and tied an American League record for a third baseman with 10 assists in a game. He became the first player to lead the league at his position in games played, putouts, assists, double plays and fielding percentage. Frank led the league with 627 at-bats and hit a career-high .295 in 1958. Through 1961, he tied a record by leading AL third basemen in double plays five straight seasons. He enjoyed his best season in 1962, batting .283 with 21 home runs and 95 RBI. He was an All-Star eight times (1957, 1958, 1959*, 1960*, 1963, 1964) *All -Star twice in same year. He also won a Gold Glove three seasons in a row (1957, 1958, and 1959). Frank was inducted into the Red Sox Hall of Fame in 1995.

• Rick Miller

  OF ... '71 - '77 , '81 - '85

  Miller played 12 of his 15 Major League Seasons with the Red Sox, including being part of the 1975 AL Championship team, playing alongside greats such as Carl Yastrzemski, Dwight Evans, Fred Lynn, Carlton Fisk, and Jim Rice. Miller was named the unsung hero of the 1972 and 1981 Red Sox and the 1974 Man of the Year for his charitable contributions in the community. Given the opportunity to play every day when traded briefly to the California Angels, Miller was awarded the AL Gold Glove award in 1978 and hit a career high .293 as a leadoff man for the 1979 AL West Champion Angels.

• Bob Montgomery

  C ... '70 - '79

  After his playing career, Montgomery spent fourteen seasons (1982-1995) as the color commentator for Red Sox telecasts on WSBK-TV 38. Bob is noted for being the last Major League player to bat without a helmet. Although helmets were mandated in 1971, Montgomery was grandfathered in and could choose to not wear one.

• Trot Nixon

  OF ... '96 - '06

  Know as the original "Dirt Dog" for his hard-nosed style of play, Tron spent 10 years in a Red Sox uniform. Trot played on the 2004 Red Sox World Series team, where he hit .357 in the Series as well as batted in the final two runs that allowed the Red Sox to sweep the Cardinals. Nixon had a career-best year in 2003 when he batted .306 with 24 doubles and 28 home runs. Perhaps his best moment of 2003, was his dramatic walk-off home run in the bottom of the 11th to beat the Oakland A's and keep the AL Division Series alive, which the Sox would go on to win in 5 games.

• Ken Sanders

  P ... '64 - '76

  Sanders was the American League Saves Champion (31) with the Brewers in 1971. He also has the highest fielding percentage for a pitcher (.977%) Over his ten year career, Ken played for nine different teams in eight different cities. He spent the most time with the Milwaukee Brewers (1970-72).

• Bob Stanley

  P ... '77 - '89

  As first-round pick of the Boston Red Sox in 1974, over his 13-year career, Stanley played only for the Red Sox from 1977-89. Known across Red Sox Nation as "The Steamer", Stanley was a sinker ball specialist who became the club's all-time saves leader with 132 until Jonathan Papelbon passed him in 2009. He is also the all-time leader in appearances with 637 and is a member of the Red Sox Hall of Fame since 2000. His best season came in 1983 when he led the Sox with 33 saves and posted a 2.45 ERA. Stanley was a key member of the 1986 Red Sox team that came within one strike of winning the World Series but ultimately fell to the Mets in seven games. Over his 13 year career, Bob compiled a 115-97 career-record with 693 strikeouts, a 3.64 ERA, 21 complete games, seven shutouts, 132 saves, and 1707 innings in 637 games (85 as a starter). To this day, Bob Stanley still lives in the New England area, living in the Seacoast region of southern New Hampshire.

• Luis Tiant

  P ... '71 - '78

  Tiant played with the Red Sox from May 17, 1971 until Nov 2, 1978. In 1966, Tiant tied a major league record when he pitched four straight shutouts on his way to 12 wins and a 2.79 ERA. In 1968, Tiant led the league in ERA (1.60), shutouts (9), hits per nine innings (a still-standing franchise record 5.30 and would be a Major-League record low until Nolan Ryan gave up 5.26 hits/9 innings in 1972), strikeouts per nine innings (9.22, more than a batter an inning), while finishing with a 21-9 mark. Opposing hitters batted just .168 off Tiant, a major league record, and on July 3 he struck out 19 Minnesota Twins in a ten-inning game, setting an American League record for games of that length. His 1.60 ERA was the lowest in the American League since Walter Johnson's 1.49 mark during the dead-ball era in 1919, and second lowest in 1968 only to Bob Gibson's 1.12-the lowest ever during the Live Ball Era. Luis Tiant was inducted into the Red Sox Hall of Fame in 1997.

• Frank Viola

  P ... '92 - '94

  Viola played for the Red Sox from 1992-1994. He is a three time All-Star selection (1988,'90 & '92).He won the 1987 World Series while playing with Twins (also named the World Series MVP.) He won the AL Cy Young award in 1988 while also playing with the Twins. He is noted for having invented the "Circle Change-up" in 1988.

• Rick Wise

  P ... '74 - '78

  Wise played for the Red Sox from October 26, 1973 - March 30, 1978. Wise was an All-Star selection in 1971 & 1973. On June 23, 1971 he threw a no-hitter against the Cincinnati Reds while he played for the Phillies. He also hit two home runs in that game. He is one of only three pitchers to throw a no-hitter and hit a home run in the same game. Later that year on September 18 against the Cubs he retired 32 batters straight. Wise also has distinction of being traded for two future Hall of Famers, on two separate occasions. He was involved in trades with Steve Carlton and Dennis Eckersley.

• Joe Castiglione

  BROADCASTER ... '83 - Present

  Castiglione joined the Red Sox broadcast team in 1983, teamed with Ken Coleman. He admitted not being in the booth when the ball rolled through Bill Buckner's legs in the 1986 World Series, as he was in the clubhouse covering Red Sox' seemingly impending victory celebration. At the end of the 1991 season, Castiglione became the team's lead radio announcer along with Jerry Trupiano. Castig's most famous call came on the final out of the 2004 World Series ("Can you believe it!...") which quickly gained him national recognition. Castiglione is currently a Lecturer in the department of Communication Studies at Northeastern University, where he teaches a course on Sports Broadcasting. Current Red Sox play-by-play announcers Don Orsillo and Uri Berenguer (Spanish Beisbol) were among his students and broadcast booth interns. He has also taught at Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire.

• Dwight Evans

  OF ... '72 - '90

  Evans batted .272 for his illustrious career with the Red Sox, smashing 385 HR (10th all-time by AL right-handers) and driving in 1,384 runs (65th all-time MLB). For all his offensive achievements, however, "Dewey" was best known for his work with the leather. A 3-time AL All-Star, Evans would go on to win an astounding 8 Gold Glove Awards. His spectacular running catch and throw double play in the 11th Inning of Game 6 of the 1975 World Series is likely his most memorable moment in Fenway's right field, and drew similarities to his childhood hero Willie Mays. Dwight was elected to the Red Sox Hall of Fame in 2000 and remains a player development consultant for the team today.

I haven't touched a baseball in 30 years and am afraid I will make a fool of myself.

This is the single biggest concern we have amongst new campers. We can't stress enough that there is no pre-requisite for experience, talent or physical prowess. The camp is meant to be fun, and we have campers of all ages and abilities. We only require that you enjoy the game of baseball and the Red Sox.

Do most people attend with a friend or attend on their own?

We have a great mix of attendees. We have friends coming down together, father/son combinations, co-workers, etc. In addition, we have many campers (almost 75%) who come down completely on their own. If you do happen to come alone, there are many opportunities to meet and socialize with other campers, and many new lifelong friendships have been started at camp.

Do I need a rental car?

Transportation is provided to/from the Airport and the Hotel, as well as the Hotel and the ballpark each day. It is not necessary to rent a car and is entirely up to you if you decide to do so.

What is the average age of a camper?

The minimum age to attend camp is 30 years old. Our campers range in age from 30 - 78 years old. Regardless of age, each camper has the same opportunity to play.

What equipment do I need for camp?

We provide a full authentic home and road Red Sox uniform. We also provide all bats, helmets, catchers gear and other general baseball equipment. Each camper should bring their own glove, cleats and any accessories they may want for the week (sunglasses, batting gloves, etc).

Are there photographers and videographers available to capture the week's events?

Yes. We have both professional photographers and videographers on site throughout the week to capture the events. Photos will be available for purchase both at the camp and afterward. We provide a full video after the camp has concluded as part of the package and is at no additional charge.

Are family and friends allowed at camp?

Yes. Friends, family and fans alike are allowed to attend all games free of charge. If you wish to have your family member or friend attend the functions, these are available at an additional charge and can be purchased on an individual basis or through a spectator package which includes access to all events, as well as other special amenities.

What is the Fantasy Camp Reunion game

All campers are invited to take part in a reunion game at Fenway Park during the 2012 season. This is an additional charge, but includes a ticket to a Red Sox game, and the opportunity to play a game at Fenway Park the following day. See the Fenway Reunion tab for more detail on this exclusive opportunity.

What kind of physical shape should I be in for camp?

We recommend that ever camper try to be in the best shape possible to ensure their Fantasy Camp experience is enjoyed to its fullest. That said, we realize that nobody attending is a professional athlete, so Olympic training ahead of time is in no way required. We also have the Red Sox professional training staff on site to help with any injuries or sore muscles that may result from a week at camp.

All campers are invited to take part in a two-day event at Fenway Park during the 2013 season. The event is an additional fee ($500 previously) and includes:

Red Sox Home Game Day:

• A Game ticket to a Red Sox game at Fenway Park (option to purchase additional companion tickets at face value)
• The championship team from the 2012 camp will receive their championship rings during an on-field ceremony prior to the first pitch of the game.

Camper Game Day:

• A shortened game (~5 innings) on the field at Fenway Park the day after the Red Sox home game
• Breakfast and lunch at Fenway Park
• Dress in the visitor's clubhouse
• Option to purchase companion tickets for the event, which includes breakfast, lunch and a VIP Tour of Fenway Park and the opportunity to look behind the Green Monster.

A short note to say a BIG thanks for an amazing week. On vacations and things like that, there's always something that doesn't go quite right. Even if it's a tiny thing. Well, I can't say this about the fantasy camp week. You ran the perfect camp. Right down to the tiny things. All the big things were amazing, and all the details just as strong. It was truly the best money I've ever spent on myself. So thank you. Please share this with anyone. It was truly a special week.
