ELIGIBILITY: 2008 Red Sox Nation Sit in the Owners' Seats Once a Homestand Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and Washington, D.C., excluding Rhode Island, who are eighteen (18) years or older at the time of entry (except in the case of legal residents of certain states or Washington DC where the age of majority is greater than eighteen (18) years of age, such age of majority). Employees, officers, and directors (including immediate family members such as spouse, parent, child and sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside, and members of the same household, whether or not related) of Boston Red Sox Baseball Club (the "Sponsor"), the other MLB Entities and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers and advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the Sweepstakes are not eligible to participate or win a prize. The "MLB Entities" shall mean the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball, its Bureaus, Committees, Subcommittees and Councils, MLB Advanced Media, L.P. ("MLBAM" or "MLB.com"), SportsOnEarth, LLC, Tickets.com, Inc., Major League Baseball Enterprises, Inc., Major League Baseball Properties, Inc. (doing business in its own name and as Major League Baseball Productions and Major League Baseball International), the Major League Baseball Clubs, and each of their subsidiaries or affiliated entities, any entity which, now or in the future, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Major League Baseball Clubs or the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball, and the directors, officers, employees and agents of the above entities. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law, rule or regulation.

HOW TO ENTER: The Sweepstakes begins at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on June 5, 2008 and ends at 5:00 p.m. ET on September 11, 2008 ("Entry Period"). There are two ways to enter: (1) online; or (2) by mail. No other method of entry will be accepted. Limit one (1) entry per person/e-mail address/household, regardless of method of entry.

1. Online Method: During the Entry Period go to the Red Sox Nation Citizens-only section available at redsoxnation.com to submit your electronic entry form. By successfully transmitting your completed online entry form as directed on redsoxnation.com, you will be entered in the Sweepstakes. All information submitted online by entrants is subject to, and will be treated in a manner consistent with, MLB.com's Privacy Policy accessible at: www.mlb.com/privacy. Entrants must fully complete and submit all non-optional data requested on the online entry form to be eligible. Incomplete entries are void. Online entrants to the Sweepstakes will be given the option to receive commercial e-mails from redsox.com; however, eligibility to participate in the Sweepstakes is not dependent upon entrant's consent to receive such e-mails.
2. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY MAIL-IN METHOD: If you would like to enter this Sweepstakes without having to become a Red Sox Nation Citizen, you may enter the Sweepstakes by hand-printing your name, address, city, state and zip code, day and evening telephone number (including area code), date of birth and e-mail address (optional) on a standard size postcard and mailing it in an envelope with proper postage affixed to: Boston Red Sox, 4 Yawkey Way, Boston, MA 02215 Attn: 2008 Red Sox Nation Sit in the Owners' Seats Once a Homestand Sweepstakes. Sponsor will use e-mail addresses provided via the mail-in entry method for prize notification purposes only; however, eligibility to participate in the Sweepstakes is not dependent upon entrant providing an email address. In the event entrant does not provide an email address and is chosen as a Winner (defined below), the entrant will be notified by telephone. Mail-in entries shall become the property of the Sponsor upon receipt of such entries and will not be returned to entrant.

DRAWING DEADLINES: There will be a total of seven (7) random drawings from among all eligible entries received as of the applicable Drawing Date (as defined below). To be eligible for the applicable drawing(s), entries must be received by the following dates:

RANDOM DRAWING: The potential winners of the Sweepstakes (the "Winner or Winners") will be selected by random drawing on or about the following drawing dates (each, a "Drawing Date"). The decisions of Sponsor, where applicable, are final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. The odds of an individual winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. All prizes will be awarded. Limit one (1) Prize (defined below) per person, family or household.

PRIZE: Seven (7) prizes will be awarded. Each potential winner will receive four (4) tickets to a 2008 regular season home game to watch from the Sponsor's owners' seats (the "Prize") and such game shall be decided at the sole discretion of the Boston Red Sox. (Estimated Retail Value of each prize: $1300). TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM THE GAME IS NOT INCLUDED.

The Winner is fully responsible for any and all applicable federal, state and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes). All costs and expenses associated with Prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided by the Sponsor, including but not limited to lodging, transportation costs, meals, gratuities and other expenses incurred by accepting the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner. The dates and times for Major League Baseball games and exhibitions for which tickets are awarded as Prizes are determined in the sole discretion of the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball and/or the applicable Major League Baseball Club, as applicable, and may be subject to change. The terms and conditions on the tickets awarded as Prizes will govern in the event a legal game or exhibition, as defined by Major League Baseball, is not played due to weather, an act of God, an act of terrorism, civil disturbance or any other reason. Winner agrees to comply with all applicable stadium regulations in connection with its attendance at any game or exhibition that are awarded as Prizes. Sponsor and the applicable MLB Entities reserve the right to remove or to deny entry to Winner and/or Winner's guest at Fenway Park who engage in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at the game or exhibition. The Released Parties (defined below) will not be responsible for acts of God, acts of terrorism, civil disturbances, work stoppage or any other natural disaster outside their control that may cause the cancellation of Major League Baseball games or exhibitions.

The Prize is non-transferable and non-assignable, with no cash redemptions allowed except at Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of comparable or greater value at its sole and absolute discretion.

NOTIFICATION: The potential Winner will be notified by e-mail and/or telephone by the Sponsor and/or MLBAM and may (in Sponsor's discretion) be confirmed by postal mail, return receipt (the "Prize Notification"). In the event that the potential Winner does not respond to such Prize Notification within three (3) days of date of such notification, a disqualification will result and the Prize will be forfeited and an alternate potential Winner shall be chosen from among all remaining eligible entries. The potential Winner may be required to submit his/her valid social security number and/or other identification to Sponsor and will be required to execute, have notarized and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability and, unless prohibited by law, Publicity, within five (5) days of date of issuance. Failure to submit any identification required by Sponsor or to return the required documents within the specified time period, noncompliance with these Official Rules or the return of any Prize or Prize Notification as undeliverable will also result in disqualification and will cause the Prize to be forfeited and an alternate potential Winner will be chosen from among all remaining eligible entries.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY/PUBLICITY RELEASE: By participating in the Sweepstakes and submitting an entry, each entrant agrees to (i) be bound by these Official Rules, including all entry requirements, and (ii) waive any and all claims against the Sponsor, the other MLB Entities and each of its respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, representatives and advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the Sweepstakes, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, "Released Parties") for any injury, damage or loss that may occur, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from the participation in the Sweepstakes or from the receipt or use of any Prize or any travel or activity related to the receipt or use of any Prize. The Winner, by acceptance of the Prize, grants to Sponsor, the other MLB Entities and each of its respective designees the right to publicize such Winner's name, address (city and state of residence), photograph, voice and/or other likeness and prize information in any media now known or hereafter devised throughout the world, in perpetuity, without additional compensation or consideration, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: Released Parties are not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any Sweepstakes-related materials. Released Parties are not responsible for entries or mail that is stolen, late, misdirected, lost, damaged, garbled, delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, illegible or mail that arrives with postage due. . Sweepstakes entries generated by a script, macro or other mechanical or automated means will be disqualified. Released Parties are not responsible for incorrect, inaccurate transcription or loss or delay of entry or prize reply information, or any viruses transmitted to computers of participants via the Internet, or for any technical or human errors associated with the Sweepstakes. If, in the exclusive judgment of MLBAM or Sponsor, this promotion becomes compromised in any way, MLBAM and Sponsor reserve the right to withdraw the promotion offer, cancel any method of entry, to void any entries submitted fraudulently or select winners from all eligible entries received prior to the act that compromised the promotion.

Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Sweepstakes or website or attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, deception or other unfair playing practices, or intend to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrant or Sponsor's representatives or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void. Any attempt to deliberately damage the content or operation of this Sweepstakes is unlawful and subject to legal action by the Sponsor, MLBAM or their respective agents. Sponsor shall have the sole right to disqualify any entrant for violation of these Official Rules or any applicable laws relating to the Sweepstakes, and to resolve all disputes in their sole discretion. Released Parties (i) make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning any Prize, and (ii) disclaim any implied warranty. All disputes will be resolved under applicable U.S. law in the County of New York, state of New York.

Sponsor and MLBAM reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof) should virus, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, or other causes corrupt administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper operation of the Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof). In the event of cancellation, Sponsor may elect to identify a Winner and award the Prize by way of random drawing from among all non-suspect, eligible entries received up to the time of such cancellation.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE CONTENT OR LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR AND MLBAM WILL DISQUALIFY ANY SUCH ENTRANT AND RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS' FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

All online entries must include a valid e-mail address for the entrant. In the case of multiple entries received from any one person or email address or household, only the first entry received from such person or email address or household will be considered. In the event of dispute as to the identity or eligibility of a Winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the "Authorized Account Holder" of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry provided he/she is eligible according to these Official Rules. The "Authorized Account Holder" is the natural person to whom the applicable Internet service provider or other organization (such as a business or educational institution) has assigned the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

WINNERS' LIST: For a list of Winners (available after Oct. 1, 2008) entrants should mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Boston Red Sox, 4 Yawkey Way, Boston, MA 02215 Attn: 2008 Red Sox Nation Sit in the Owners' Seats Once a Homestand Sweepstakes. Winner's list requests must be made by November 1, 2008.
