More from the Front Office Insider

Betts and Bogaerts September 3, 2014:
Youth, Power, and Pedro

Oh, to be 21 again!

Do you remember the excitement of being young and carefree? The unbridled enthusiasm for life? The endless possibilities that lay ahead? Or that time you had a multi-hit game and a home run at Yankee Stadium?

OK, so Xander Bogaerts and Mookie Betts aren't your typical 21 year olds. The youngsters had 7 combined hits, including a homer apiece in the Bronx last night, and are still a month away from their 22nd birthdays. Despite some early struggles, I think the future still looks bright for the rookies. And don't forget "La Potencia", as Cespedes added three hits of his own, including a double and a triple. More promising signs for the road ahead…

But before we look too far ahead, let's not forget the next few weeks at Fenway. If you're a student moving to Boston for the school year, don't forget to check out our $9 ticket offer, exclusively for students. At just 9 bucks a ticket, you can afford to take the entire floor of your dorm with you.

Finally, don't forget that next Tuesday the 9th is our final bobblehead giveaway of the season. All fans in attendance will be receiving a Pedro Martinez bobblehead to commemorate the 15th anniversary of his magical 1999 season and All-Star appearance at Fenway Park. So get your tickets for Tuesday if you haven't already!

Enjoy the last few weeks of summer!

Sincerely,
– "The Front Office Insider"
