Calling All Kids Month

The Boston Red Sox and Cody Ross announce June as "Calling All Kids Month" at Fenway Park presented by Hood. The month will feature ticket giveaways and unique activities just for kids. School's almost out for the summer and there's no better time to be a Red Sox fan.

Check out this month's line-up below!

Hood and the Boston Red Sox will team up to giveaway 1,500 tickets for home Red Sox games in June. The ticket distribution will take place at the Hood Milk Bottle, located at Boston Children's Museum on Saturday June 2nd beginning at 10am. Tickets will be distributed to the first 750 children (age 14 and under) accompanied by an adult.** Hoodsie cups and other promotional giveaway items.

During each of the 15 June home games little leaguers and baseball camp kids will take the field with the Red Sox before the start of every game.

A Child who has overcome adversity or made a significant contribution to the community will be honored as part of the "Child-Hood Heroes" program at every home game, presented by Hood.

To further incorporate children into the game, seven-year-old Jiana McDonald, the oldest daughter of outfielder Darnell McDonald, will act as the Red Sox' kid reporter for online features. Jiana will work with Red Sox Productions, the in-house television production team of the Boston Red Sox, and alongside NESN's in-game reporter, Jenny Dell, during select games.

Children who are unable to attend a game at Fenway Park in June can still participate in Calling All Kids month by submitting an essay or piece of artwork to the Red Sox Essay Contest and Art Competition. Cody Ross will be among the judges who will choose the winners. Essays and art should be submitted to: Fenway Park Essay and Art Contest, 4 Yawkey Way, Boston, MA 02215. **Ticket distribution begins at 10 am ET. First 750 children in line will get opportunity to spin a wheel to randomly selected a game. Each of the first 750 children in line will receive a pair of tickets to the corresponding game on the wheel they spun. One spin per child (first 750 only). Ticket quantities are limited and seating locations are scattered. No exchanges, no refunds!
