Kyle Schwarber's Block Party

Kyle Schwarber's Block Party

Hundreds of guests and sponsors joined Kyle Schwarber to honor Chicago's first responders at his inaugural Block Party event. Overall, the event raised more than $280,000 to benefit Schwarber's Neighborhood Heroes campaign. Funds from the campaign will support quality of life improvements for first responders and their families through education, resources and experiences.

The event took place at Revel Fulton Market in Chicago, with representatives from the Chicago Fire Department, Police Department and United Service Organizations who brought special equipment and uniforms for guests to try on. Later in the night Kyle's sister, Lyndsey, demonstrated skills from the K-9 unit with her German Shepherd, Bear. In true block party fashion, guests enjoyed various backyard-style foods from restaurants such as Big Star, Lou Malnati's Pizza, Public House, Jeni's Ice Cream and more. Guests spent the evening playing lawn games and dancing to live music while sipping on refreshing cocktails.

Kyle is grateful for the support and generosity that made the first year of his event such a huge success!
