FAQs
Is there a ticket for the event?
There is no physical ticket for this event- participant's will check-in using their names the day-of the event. Don't forget to bring your ID!
Are there age restrictions?
All participants must be age 21 years of age or older. Please bring your ID to check-in. There is no age limit!
What happens if there is bad weather?
This event will occur Rain or Shine, there are no refunds. The event will be modified in the event it cannot be held outside.
What do I need to bring with me?
No gloves necessary! We will provide all the equipment you will need. Every participant is required to complete a waiver prior to partaking in the event. Waivers will be e-mailed to participants before the event and will be available day-of. In order to maintain the safest environment for all participants, we strongly recommend that you leave valuables at home or in your car. All persons and carry-in items are subject to search. Additionally, no firearms or other weapons are permitted at the event, including on the properly of Great American Ball Park or parking lots.
What should I wear?
We encourage participants to wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. No high heels are allowed on the field. Don't forget your Reds apparel!
Can I take pictures?
Bring your phone or camera! If you plan to post on any social media platforms, please use #Reds101. Please be aware that any photographs and/or videos taken at the event can be used for Reds marketing purposes.
How do I receive my ticket to the Reds game?
Ticket redemption codes for the future Reds game will be e-mailed to all participants prior to the event.
Will this event sell-out?
Space is limited for this event and it fills up quickly. Once the event is sold-out, a wait list will commence on a first come, first served basis.
How do I make sure I am with my friends?
Participants will be randomly placed into one of five groups upon registering. If you would like to be paired up with a friend or family member, please contact us at baseball101@reds.com.
Who is the charity or beneficiary?
All proceeds benefit the Reds Community Fund. The RCF is the official non-profit organization of the Cincinnati Reds. Since its inception in 2001, the Community Fund has been dedicated to improving the lives of youth through its baseball and softball-themed outreach efforts. Find out more at reds.com/community.

Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Sorry, no exceptions. This means once we receive your registration, you are unable to receive a refund if you cannot participate. This No Refunds Policy applies even if the Event is cancelled for any reason. If this occurs, your registration fee will be considered a donation to the Reds Community Fund to be utilized for one of their many outreach initiatives.


The sale and consumption of all alcoholic beverages is subject to Ohio Law. It is unlawful for person under 21 years of age to purchase, consume, possess or transport alcoholic beverages. The Reds and its concessionaire will implement measures to ensure that alcoholic beverages are not accessible or served to person under 21 years of age or to person who are intoxicated. The Reds reserve the right to limit consumption and/or sale of alcoholic beverages at events.
