Houston College Classic concludes at Minute Maid Park 03/07/2011 1:06 AM ETHouston Astros
HOUSTON, TX -- The three-day Houston College Classic baseball tournament (March 4-6) concluded tonight at Minute Maid Park, with Rice, Baylor and Utah each finishing with 2-1 records. Houston, Kentucky and Texas A&M rounded out the field with 1-2 marks. Each team placed at least one player on the 2011 Houston College Classic All-Tournament Team, which was highlighted by the Classic's Most Outstanding Player P Austin Kubitza from Rice and Texas A&M outfielder Tyler Naquin, who hit for the cycle in Sunday night's game. The remaining 2011 All-Tournament Team filled out as follows:
