MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, Minn. &neash; The Minnesota Twins today announced that the club has surpassed the three million mark in total advance tickets sold for the Inaugural 2010 Season at Target Field. The last time the team sold three million tickets was 1988, the year following the Twins' first World Series Championship season. The Twins are well on their way to surpassing their all-time annual attendance record of 3,030,672 established in that historic 1988 season.

Through 33 dates during the 2010 season, the Twins have achieved an average paid attendance of 39,001, placing the team in the top six in Major League Baseball. The Twins trail only the New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, Los Angeles Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals and Los Angeles Angels in average attendance.

"While we've had a record-setting season in terms of ticket sales, single-game tickets are still available for fans who want to be a part of the Twins first season at Target Field," said Paul Froehle, senior director of ticket operations for the Twins.

Tips for fans:
  • Ticket inventory is limited for June, July and August
  • Fans are still urged to continue checking back often as single-game inventory does become available for various reasons.
  • Identify games later in the season during late August and September where more seats are available.

Single-game tickets for the Inaugural Season at Target Field are available at, by calling 612-33-TWINS or 800-33-TWINS, at the Target Field box office and at Twins Pro Shop locations in Apple Valley, Minnetonka and Roseville.
