Fans can register for 2010 MLB All-Star Summer tickets tomorrow04/20/2010 4:50 PM ET
Tickets for 2010 MLB All-Star Summer events at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, including the 81st MLB All-Star Game (July 13), Gatorade All-Star Workout Day featuring the State Farm Home Run Derby (July 12), and Taco Bell All-Star Sunday featuring the XM All-Star Futures Game and Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game (July 11), will be sold online through a random selection system to enable as many fans as possible the chance to purchase tickets, it was announced today.
Ticket strips will be made available through the random selection system. A strip includes one ticket to each of these ballpark events and also two MLB All-Star FanFest tickets at the Anaheim Convention Center. There is a limit of two strips per customer. Additionally, individual tickets are still available and on sale now for MLB All-Star FanFest and Taco Bell All-Star Sunday.
Beginning at 10:00 a.m. PT on April 21, fans can visit MLB.com, the official web site of Major League Baseball, allstargame.com, angelsbaseball.com and any of the other 29 Major League Club web sites to register for the chance to participate in the online opportunity to purchase tickets to the All-Star Summer events at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. One entry per person will be accepted. The deadline to register is 5:00 p.m. PT on May 21. Winners will be notified via e-mail on or about May 28. A complete list of rules and procedures is available on MLB.com, allstargame.com and all Club web sites.
Additionally, there will be a random online selection system for a limited number of wheelchair-accessible tickets for the ballpark events. Individuals requiring wheelchair-accessible seating will have the ability to select a check box for Accessible Seating Request submitting their entries.
Angels season ticket holders will be offered the opportunity to purchase tickets for MLB All-Star Summer events at Angel Stadium of Anaheim and MLB All-Star FanFest.
MLB All-Star Summer ticket prices are offered in the following price range: MLB All-Star FanFest - $30 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under (children two and under are admitted free), senior citizens and military personnel; Taco Bell All-Star Sunday - $50 - $200 each; Gatorade All-Star Workout Day - $145 - $330 each; and 81st Major League Baseball All-Star Game - $185 - $360 each.
Net Proceeds from Gatorade All-Star Workout Day, expected to total nearly $5 million, will be donated to charitable efforts supported by Major League Baseball and the Los Angeles Angels as part of the All-Star Legacy program.
Tickets for MLB All-Star FanFest are available for purchase online at allstargame.com, by phone at 1-888-FANFEST (326-3378), at the ticket windows adjacent to the Home Plate Gate at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Tickets for MLB All-Star FanFest are sold on a timed-entry basis, giving fans the ability to reserve the day and time of their choice. Major League Baseball Properties and the Los Angeles Angels are offering several discount options, including discounts of $5 off each MLB All-Star FanFest ticket purchased as part of a MLB All-Star FanFest Family Pack. MasterCard is the preferred credit card of Major League Baseball, but all forms of payment will be accepted.
