Dramatic World Series Game 5 Generates 10.6 Overnight Rating

The San Francisco Giants World Series victory in a dramatic Game 5 registered a 10.6/16 metered market rating. The five-game 2010 World Series averaged a metered market rating of 9.9 marking a 3% increase over the 2008 World Series, which had teams of similar combined market size.

San Francisco registered a 37.9 rating for Game 5 which witnessed the Giants winning their first World Series in San Francisco and first title since 1954. The five games of the 2010 World Series averaged a 35.3, which topped the market's average of 35.0 for the full seven games of the 2002 World Series.
