As the Rays and Yankees tangled in the Bronx, some of the best wrestlers in the world were on hand Tuesday to take in the AL East clash.
All seven members of the 2012 US Olympic men's freestyle wrestling team, along with coach Zeke Jones and his staff, are in New York this week to take on Russia in the Grapple in the Big Apple on Thursday. The throwdown will be the first live athletic event ever held in Times Square
Said Nebraska product Jordan Burroughs, the youngest member of the squad at 23 years old, "We're super excited, wrestling a tough Russian team who's always the best in the world. Hopefully we'll kick their butts."
