Cancer survivor on a mission to see all 162 Brewers games

Ben Rouse attended 43 Brewers games during the summer of 2006, including 14 away from Miller Park. But his latest quest aims to dwarf even that impressive feat.

After a bone marrow transplant in 2009, Rouse was able to beat leukemia for a second time. And as the '10 UW-Madison graduate thought more and more about his dream of attending all 162 Brewers games in a season, he decided it was time to act.

Rouse contacted the Brewers in December with his plan, and they agreed to upgrade his 20-game ticket pack to a full-season package. The team also provides one ticket to all Milwaukee road games along with a per diem for food and beverages. Eighteen-thousand travel miles later -- including 5,000 driving miles -- Ben has yet to miss a game. You can follow his progress at his MLBlog, Brewers Mission 162, where he keeps stats like the number of pitches he's seen and the number of Miller Park sausages he's eaten.

Rouse is also using his quest to raise money and awareness for the Be The Match bone marrow registry. You can visit his personal page right HERE for more information.
