Baseball helped one Cardinals fan kick a nasty habit. He put down the cigarettes, picked up a pencil and started crafting portraits of his favorite players with the money he saved.
The self-described ambassador of hoopla and hilarity says his proudest moment came back on May 22, when he brought a drawing of Adam Wainwright to the stadium on the day the starter threw his first shutout since 2010.
Wainwright even noticed the sketch and offered to sign it.
