Korean born baseball star on the mound. Korean born pop star in the stands. Hyun-Jin Ryu took the hill for the Dodgers on Monday night and brought along a pal to cheer him on.
Hit song maker and amazing dance master Psy was on hand to witness Ryu record a career high 12 strikeouts while holding the Colorado Rockies to just two runs over six frames. Psy also decided that he might just have a future batting cleanup for the Dodgers as he was seen in the batting cage getting his hacks in. Ryu got the W and was near dominant the entire night. He was quoted after the game saying this: “I had my Hadouken working all night and almost did the Oppa Ryu Style on the mound. Now Psy and I are heading to a Disco.” (That quote actually didn’t happen, but I wish it did.)
