Frank Thomas Scouting Report

Sunday, May 5, 2013 10:25 AM

As you guys may have noticed, the scouting reports of various legends of baseball have been released over the past couple of weeks. They've been great peeks into history that give insight as to what these then prospects were projected to do in their MLB careers.

Today's scouting report is a bit special for me. As a little guy growing up in the suburbs of Chicago I grew up idolizing Frank Thomas. Like, no, seriously. Posters, signature sneakers, video games, baseball cards. Name it, I had it.

Anyway, I love that the scout describes Thomas as a "Good kid who loves to play. Has fun playing." What baseball player doesn't love the game and have fun playing baseball?! Also, the final summation about Thomas? That's pretty spot on if you ask me.

The only thing I see wrong with this scouting report is that they have him listed as a B+ prospect. Well, not everyone can be perfect, but this scouting report is close.

I can't wait to see who else's reports get released. I could read these all day!
