Husky Runs on the Field During NCAA Tournament Game

Sunday, June 2, 2013 5:04 PM

I’ve blogged about bees, squirrels and even skunks entering a baseball field and delaying the game. And now we have a new visitor: dogs! In Saturday’s NCAA Tournament game between Arizona State and Cal-State Fullerton, a husky entered the field and ran around the bases during the bottom of the second inning.

The dog was the first to run the bases in the game, and only one run crossed home plate in the entire game as Fullerton won, 1-0. Guess it was a ‘ruff’ day for the batters!
