Ghostbusters Baseball Episode

Saturday, June 8, 2013 2:33 AM

Two of my favorite things growing up were baseball and the Ghostbusters.

When the two cross paths, it is perfection.

Saturday marks the anniversary of the release of the original “Ghostbusters” movie in 1984. To celebrate, we’ve scrounged up this old episode of “The Real Ghostbusters,” the cartoon series that followed the first movie.

Winston (yes, that is Arsenio Hall’s voice) is the protagonist in this episode, and poor Winston just wants to go see a baseball game. Since it’s not the Mets or Yankees playing, none of the other nerds he works with are willing to tag along. Winston ends up bribing Slimer with ballpark food to score a date to the game.

I’d be more than happy to continue my synopsis, but I think you should just watch the show.

Enjoy!

Now if only we could find a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles baseball episode…
