Rivera Farewell Tour Continues in Los Angeles

Wednesday, July 31, 2013 11:08 PM

New York Yankees closer Mariano Rivera’s farewell tour hit the City of Angels Wednesday night, and after meeting with some Los Angeles Dodgers employees, the Dodgers presented Mariano with perhaps one of his most functional gifts to date:

The 44-year-old career saves leader, whose father was a fisherman, now has something he can utilize after his playing days are over.

You know any fish on the other end of the line doesn’t stand a chance against the greatest closer of all-time.
