Stick-Figure Art During Cubs Broadcast

Saturday, August 31, 2013 10:56 AM

What should a production team do when a power outage leaves them with no access to instant replay? Draw stick figures, of course! At least that’s what happened during the Cubs' broadcast yesterday. When power resumed, the broadcast team drew a stick-figure artist rendition of Nate Schierholtz to represent the replay of his home run. Kudos to the team – the drawing was pretty good! The only problem was Schierholtz was depicted as a righty, when he’s a lefty. But, hey, I’m not judging. Let’s just be happy that the technical problems were soon resolved.
