Evan Gattis Crushes the Longest Homer of 2013

Sunday, September 8, 2013 10:31 PM

Atlanta Braves rookie Evan Gattis belted a pair of home runs on Sunday, narrowly missing a third.

His second-inning blast measured at 486 feet, the longest home run in the Majors this season.

El Oso Blanco has 18 homers and 50 RBIs in his rookie campaign despite losing nearly a month due to an oblique injury.

He may not be able to overtake Miami Marlins starter Jose Fernandez for Rookie of the Year, but Atlanta's "secret agent" has certainly let his secret out of the bag.

Pitchers, beware.
