Three-year-old Quinn Boultbee stood timidly at the left field fence at Rogers Centre when Toronto Blue Jays starter Esmil Rogers spotted him and jumped into nearby seats. Rogers sat with Quinn, gave him a ball and tried on his little glove.
Rogers then brought Quinn onto the field where they played catch with teammate Luis Perez.
“The ball Rogers gave him rarely leaves his hands," Quinn's mother Molly told me. "He absolutely made Quinn’s day, and we have to admit, ours too.”
