Many MLB players are as dedicated to training in the offseason as they are to playing well during the season. Rockies outfielder Brandon Barnes has been training with a mask that simulates the conditions brought on by the altitude at Coors Field. He has it adjusted to 6,000 feet above sea level and intends to increase it to 9,000 feet before Opening Day.
Whether Barnes makes the Major League roster or not, you have to admire his creativity and dedication.
