3. When are rooms open / closed ?
Rooms are available for each game scheduled for the current day. They open between 30 minutes to 1 hour before the game begins and close 10 minutes after the game ends.
4. What is the stadium diagram in the top left used for?
Each event is divided into separate chat rooms to allow for a manageable chat experience. This is represented by the stadium. Hover over a section to see the section number and the number of people in that section. Click a section to move into that section and begin chatting there.
5. What does "Section" refer to?
A "Section" refers to individual room partitioned for each game. By creating sections and limiting users per section, we hope to create an environment where conversations are more manageable for users within each section while being able to support large number of fans concurrently. The metaphor is similar to being in a stadium for a game and interacting with other fans in your section.
6. How do I change my avatar?
Click on your own avatar below the text input area (everyone starts with the silhouette by default) to open the avatar selector menu. Follow the simple steps to select your desired image and click "Save". Then return to the Community Chat window and click "Resume" to continue with your new avatar.
7. How do I private message others?
Click on a user name in either the "Crowd View" or the "List View" to open the tool tip menu, then select the "Private Message" option to initiate private messaging to the desired user. Click the "X" in the top right of the private message window to close the conversation.
8. How do I ignore users?
Click on a user name in either the "Crowd View" or the "List View" to open the tool tip menu, then select the "Ignore" option to ignore messages from the user.
