Vice President, Stadium Operations
Bobby Forrest was named the club's vice president of stadium operations in January of 2007. He originally joined the Astros franchise on January 2, 1995, as a member of the engineering department. Bobby was subsequently promoted to engineering supervisor in 1997, engineering manager in 1999, and senior director of engineering and maintenance in 2003. He is responsible for all building operations, which includes engineering and grounds keeping. Bobby also played a key role in the club's move from the Astrodome to the newly-built Minute Maid Park prior to the 2000 season.
Bobby is a member of the International Association of Assembly Managers, the Stadium Managers Association, the NFPA and the Association of Retractable Roof Operators World Wide, the latter of which he serves as vice president.
A native of Houston, Bobby has three children, Bobby, Chelsey and Kyle.
