Astros Power Tickets - Terms & Conditions

Astros Power Ticket ("Ticket") Terms & Conditions

The Astros Power Ticket ("Ticket") is a ticket that admits one (1) individual to Minute Maid Park for the game and date appearing on this Ticket ("Game") with cash value stored on the barcode of the ticket which can be used to purchase concessions or merchandise at most concession stands and retail locations throughout Minute Maid Park. Some portable concession stands and roving retail vendors "hawkers" may not have the ability to accept a loaded ticket for payment of concessions or merchandise. The Ticket cannot be used for the purchase of game tickets, gift cards or to gain admission to an event other than the Game, including Tours. No fees are incurred for the purchase or use of this Ticket.

Each Ticket will accept a maximum of $50.00 (fifty U.S. dollars) per ticket of added value. Once the cash value is loaded onto the Ticket it is non-refundable and cannot be redeemed as and/or for cash. All value stored on each Ticket will EXPIRE, and will become immediately NULL and VOID at the official closure of all of the participating vendors at Minute Maid Park on the date of Ticket. The official closing time for all participating vendors at Minute Maid Park shall be set and determined at the sole discretion of ballpark management. The value added on the Ticket cannot be used on a date other than on the date printed on the face of the Ticket, do NOT accumulate over time, and are not otherwise redeemable. Each Ticket carries value only for use on the date of the game printed on the front of the Ticket and can only be used at Minute Maid Park and the Astros Team Store located in Union Station.

To redeem stored value off of a Ticket, you must have the Ticket in your possession and present the Ticket at the time of payment. It is not possible to redeem stored value on the Ticket if it is not in your possession. Additional value cannot be added to the Ticket and the Ticket is not reloadable. Once all value on the Ticket has been fully redeemed, the Ticket will have no remaining monetary value and cannot be used for future transactions, admission to a game, or otherwise. If any concession or merchandise item(s) are purchased using an amount less than the value remaining on the Ticket you will not receive the remaining value back in cash, however, the Ticket may be used for additional purchases as long as there is cash value remaining on the Ticket. All remaining value on the Ticket following the Game will be forfeited if it is unused and you will not have any claim for any such unused stored value in the form of cash, credit or otherwise. All value will expire on the Ticket even if the Ticket was NOT used for admission on the date of the Game.

You may use more than one Ticket to pay for a transaction. If any concession or merchandise item(s) are purchased using an amount less than the value remaining on the Ticket you will not receive the remaining value back in cash, however, the Ticket may be used for additional purchases as long as there is cash value remaining on the Ticket. Any remaining value on the Ticket following the Game will be forfeited if it is unused and you will not have any claim for any such unused stored value.

The barcode on the Ticket is necessary to redeem the stored value. If the barcode on the Ticket is defaced, destroyed, or missing, you may request a replacement Ticket at the Box Office inside the ballpark. If a new Ticket is issued, the original Ticket is deactivated and the remaining balance on the deactivated (original) Ticket is transferred to the new Ticket.

If a Ticket is misplaced, lost, damaged or destroyed, you may request a replacement Ticket at the Box Office inside the ballpark. If that Ticket can be properly identified and validated, at the sole discretion of the ballpark management, the Box Office may issue a new Ticket. If a new Ticket is issued, the original Ticket is deactivated and the balance remaining on the deactivated (original) Ticket will be transferred to the new Ticket. From the point in time that the original Ticket is lost to the deactivation and issuance of a new Ticket, the original Ticket is still active and can be used by a third party who may have obtained possession of the lost Ticket. In the event that the value is used by a third party, the lost value cannot be restored and no refunds will be given in cash or equivalent credit. The Astros are not responsible if your Ticket is lost, stolen, damaged, destroyed, or used without your permission. The Astros reserve the right to cancel the Ticket if it believes the Ticket was obtained through fraudulent or unauthorized means.

The remaining value on the Ticket can be determined at any concession or retail stand with a register. The value can also be determined at any ticket window inside the ballpark, and Fan Accommodations centers at Sections 112 and 323. The Ticket is NOT a Gift Card. The Ticket provides admission to a baseball game at Minute Maid Park as described on the face of the Ticket. The Ticket also has value associated with the Ticket which can be used during the game to purchase concessions and merchandise throughout Minute Maid Park during and directly before and after the ball game on the specific date on the face of the Ticket. Any remaining value on the Ticket will EXPIRE after the last vendor has closed on the date appearing on the Ticket.

The Houston Astros Baseball Club reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions from time to time in its discretion without notification to a Ticket purchaser or holder. By purchasing and/or using the Ticket, the purchaser and/or ticketholder agrees to these Terms & Conditions without limitation, which shall be governed by the laws of Texas and any applicable federal laws.
