Saturday, November 19 - Alex Gordon Hosts Playing for Pink Casino Night
As part of his ongoing support of the Diamond Dawgs, a little league team that is raising awareness for cancer through their Playing for Pink campaign, Alex Gordon and his wife, Jamie, host the Playing for Pink Casino Night. The event will take place in Gordon's hometown of Lincoln, Neb. — also the hometown of the Diamond Dawgs. After being personally affected by cancer, the team of youngsters - outfitted in pink jerseys with inspirational words like "hope," "conquer," and "fight" — is fundraising not only to raise money to play in a baseball tournament in Cooperstown next summer, but also to raise awareness and money for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
