Our Community

Community Programs

The Royals recognize the importance of working together to make a difference in our community. Through these programs we aim to address the needs of our teammates off the baseball field.

Blood Drive
Kansas City residents arrive in droves to support the annual Royals Blood Drive. Their Royals experience appears on the KMBC-TV (Channel 9) 10 p.m. newscast in the "Dream Factory" segment.

Nearly 3,000 students submit essays entitled "What My Father Means to Me." The winning authors and their fathers are treated to a game and recognition during a special pre-game ceremony. Winners will also be recognized at a reception at Kauffman Stadium at Kauffman Stadium.
