The 50/50 Friday program was developed in 2010 in an effort to create awareness, and raise funds in partnership with select local charities while enjoying an evening at the ballpark.

Rules

50/50 Raffle Rules/Summary »: Participants must be 18 years or older to purchase a 50/50 raffle ticket; Unauthorized persons copying, selling, or altering tickets are subject to prosecution; The cash prize will be paid to the winner by check within 90 days of the date the prize is claimed (federal tax withholding may apply); The designated 50/50 raffle ticket is the only valid receipt for claiming a prize; Prizes will be held and may be claimed up to 30 days after the date of the raffle

The Game Plan: 50-50 Raffle Tickets will be sold from the time stadium gates open until the last out of the fourth inning; If a game does not start on time, or is delayed during the first two innings, raffle tickets will be sold for approximately three hours from the time stadium gates open; Tickets will be on sale throughout the concourse; Tickets are sold at 1 for $2, 3 for $5, and 7 for $10; One winning ticket will be selected each game; The winner will win 50% of the pool collected that game through the sale of raffle tickets; The remaining proceeds will be shared between select partner charities and Royals Charities; The winning ticket will be announced after the 7th inning on the CrownVision and posted at Guest Services Offices; The winner will be mailed a check with in thirty days after claiming his/her prize; The winning ticket should be presented at the Guest Services Office

For a list of winners send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: "Royals Charities 50/50 Raffle" Winners, One Royal Way, Kansas City, MO 64129. Requests must be received within ninety (90) days after each raffle.
