The Kansas City Royals along with the Minnesota Twins paid tribute to the Negro Leagues on Saturday, July 21 at Kauffman Stadium. On the field, both teams wore Negro Leagues Jerseys as part of the tribute. The Royals wore Kansas City Monarchs jerseys while the Twins played in St. Paul Colored Gophers jerseys.
