Chief Financial Officer
Tucker Kain enters his sixth year as CFO of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Managing Director of Guggenheim Baseball Management after leading the group's efforts to acquire the club in the largest team sports transaction in history in 2012.
In addition to his responsibilities as CFO, Kain was instrumental in navigating the execution of the Dodgers' 25-year agreement with Spectrum (formerly Time Warner Cable), which included the creation and operation of the team's regional sports network, SportsNet LA. He also oversees the Dodgers Accelerator, a venture capital initiative launched in 2015 by the Dodger ownership group to create and participate in value and growth in the sports and entertainment industry. In the first two years of the program, the team has provided unmatched access to industry partnerships and expertise to 15 innovative startups that are developing new technologies, products and services.
Previously, Kain was a Vice President at Guggenheim Partners in New York City, working in the corporate credit group overseeing an investment portfolio in excess of $2.0 billion. Kain, a 2014 selection for the Sports Business Journal's "Forty Under 40 Award," grew up in Cleveland and received his B.A. degree in Economics from Williams College. He and his wife, Ali, reside in Brentwood.
