Red, White, and Think Blue Sweepstakes Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN
ELIGIBILITY: The Red, White and Think Blue Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is sponsored by JetBlue Airways Corporation ("JetBlue") and the Los Angeles Dodgers LLC ("Dodgers") (hereinafter Dodgers and JetBlue are collectively referred to as the "Sponsors"). The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the Continental United States, excluding Rhode Island, who are eighteen (18) years or older at the time of entry (except in the case of legal residents of certain states or Washington DC where the age of majority is greater than eighteen (18) years of age, such age of majority). Employees, officers, and directors (including immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and any person residing in their same households, whether or not related) of the Sponsors, the MLB Entities and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers and advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the Sweepstakes are not eligible to participate or win the Grand Prize Package (as defined, below, in "Prize" section). The "MLB Entities" shall mean the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball, its Bureaus, Committees, Subcommittees and Councils, MLB Advanced Media, L.P. ("MLBAM" or "MLB.com"), Major League Baseball Enterprises, Inc., Major League Baseball Properties, Inc. (doing business in its own name and as Major League Baseball Productions and Major League Baseball International), the Major League Baseball Clubs, Tickets.com, Inc., SportsOnEarth, LLC and each of their subsidiaries or affiliated entities, any entity which, now or in the future, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Major League Baseball Clubs or the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball, and the directors, officers, employees and agents of the above entities. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations. The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law, rule or regulation, taxed, or required to be licensed.
HOW TO ENTER: The Sweepstakes begins at 8:00 AM Pacific Time ("PT") on July 1, 2008 and ends at 8:59 PM PT on August12, 2008 (the "Entry Period"). There are two ways to enter: online or by mail. No other method of entry will be accepted. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person/e-mail address/household, regardless of method of entry.
1. Online Method: During the Entry Period, persons desiring to submit an entry ("Entrant(s)") may go to www.dodgers.com and click on the Sweepstakes banners, buttons and/or links to access the online entry form for the Sweepstakes. By successfully transmitting a completed online entry form as directed, an Entrant will be entered in the Sweepstakes. All information submitted online by Entrants is subject to, and will be treated in a manner consistent with, MLB.com's Privacy Policy accessible at www.mlb.com/privacy. Entrants must fully complete and submit all non-optional data requested on the online entry form to be eligible. Incomplete entries are void. Online Entrants will be given the option to receive commercial e-mails from www.dodgers.com; however, eligibility to participate in the Sweepstakes is not dependent upon Entrant's consent to receive such e-mails.
2. Mail-in Method: If an Entrant does not wish to enter online, Entrant may enter the Sweepstakes by hand-printing Entrant's name, address, city, state and zip code, day & evening telephone number (including area code), date of birth and e-mail address (optional) on a 3"x5" postcard and mailing the postcard with proper postage affixed to:

Sponsors will use e-mail addresses provided via the Mail-in Method for prize notification purposes only; however, eligibility to participate in the Sweepstakes is not dependent upon Entrant's provision of this information. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by August 12, 2008 and received by Sponsors by August 19, 2008 to be eligible. Mail-in entries become the property of the Sponsors and will not be returned.
RANDOM DRAWING: The winner of the Sweepstakes (the "Winner") will be selected by random drawing on or about August19, 2008 from all eligible entries received by the Sponsors. The decisions of Sponsors, including the selection of a Winner, are final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize Package Will Be Awarded. The Winner will receive a Grand Prize Package consisting of the following:
(A) Two (2) JetBlue Travel Certificates ("Travel Certificates") each good for roundtrip travel for Winner and one (1) guest from the city served by JetBlue nearest the Winner's residence to Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). Transportation to and from airports is NOT included.
(B) Two (2) tickets to see two (2) regular season games (i.e., four (4) tickets total) played on two (2) consecutive days between the Washington Nationals and the Los Angeles Dodgers in Washington, DC (i.e., games played on either August 26 and 27, 2008 or on August 27 and 28, 2008) (the "Games").
(C) Three (3) nights hotel accommodation for the Games in Washington, DC. The location of the hotel shall be determined by Sponsors in their sole and absolute discretion. Meals are not included.
(D) Two (2) Dodgers/JetBlue fan packs.
The estimated retail value of the Grand Prize Package is Two Thousand and One Hundred Dollars ($2,100), although the actual value of the Travel Certificates may vary depending on the Winner's departure city and date of travel.
The Winner is fully responsible for any and all applicable federal, state and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes). All costs and expenses associated with the acceptance and use of the Grand Prize Package not specified herein as being provided, including but not limited to lodging, transportation costs, meals, gratuities and other expenses incurred by accepting the Grand Prize Package are the sole responsibility of the Winner. Winner's companions must be of legal age of majority in their jurisdictions of residence, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Major League Baseball game, event and exhibition dates and times, including, but not limited to, the dates and times of the Games, are determined in the sole discretion of the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball and/or the applicable Major League Baseball Club, as applicable, and may be subject to change. The terms and conditions of any tickets awarded as part of the Grand Prize Package hereunder will govern in the event a legal game, event or exhibition, as defined by Major League Baseball, is not played due to weather, an act of God, an act of terrorism, civil disturbance or any other reason beyond the reasonable control of Sponsors and/or the MLB Entities. Winner agrees to comply with all applicable stadium regulations in connection with the Grand Prize Package. Sponsors and the applicable MLB Entities reserve the right to remove or to deny entry to Winner and/or any of Winner's guests who engage in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at the Games, event or exhibition. Released Parties (defined below) will not be responsible for acts of God, acts of terrorism, civil disturbances, work stoppage or any other natural disaster outside their control that may cause the cancellation or postponement of any Major League Baseball game, event or exhibition, including the Games.
The Grand Prize Package is non-transferable and non-assignable, with no cash redemptions except at Sponsors' sole and absolute discretion. There will be no substitutions for the Grand Prize Package except by Sponsors, who reserve the right to substitute the Grand Prize Package (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value at their sole and absolute discretion.
Travel Certificates are subject to the following terms and conditions: Each Travel Certificate is valid for one (1) year, and all travel must be booked and flown within the valid dates shown on the certificate. Redeemed travel is subject to availability and seats may not be available on all flights. Certain blackout dates may apply and travel may be capacity controlled. Schedules are subject to change without notice. Each Travel Certificate is transferable; however, at no time may such Travel Certificate be purchased, sold, bartered, or otherwise exchanged for value without prior written consent from JetBlue. Travel Certificates cannot be sold or traded on auction websites. Any passenger using a Travel Certificate (the "Passenger") is subject and entitled to all provisions of JetBlue's Contract of Carriage, except "Denied Boarding Compensation" and "JetBlue Airways Customer Bill of Rights" compensation. JetBlue's Contract of Carriage is posted on the JetBlue website at http://www.jetblue.com/p/jetblue_coc.pdf. Redeemed travel is not eligible for TrueBlue points. TrueBlue is JetBlue's flight gratitude program. Fees, taxes, surcharges and/or service charges are the responsibility of the Passenger. Redemption of a Travel Certificate at a JetBlue airport ticket counter or online is not allowed. Loss of authorization number and PIN cannot be replaced. Each Travel Certificate may be redeemed only for travel on JetBlue-operated flights. Travel Certificates are not available for use on any partner airlines or in connection with JetBlue Getaways Vacation Packages or Cruises. Use of a Travel Certificate is subject to additional terms and conditions and other restrictions may apply.
PRIZE NOTIFICATION: The potential Winner will be notified by e-mail, telephone and/or mail (in the sole discretion of Sponsors and/or MLBAM, as applicable). In the event that a Winner does not respond to any such prize notification within three (3) days, a disqualification will result and the Grand Prize Package will be forfeited. Notwithstanding the foregoing, at Sponsors' sole discretion and time permitting, an alternate Winner may be chosen by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. A Winner may be required to submit his/her valid social security number and/or other identification to Sponsors and may be required to execute, have notarized and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability within five (5) days of the date of receipt. A disqualification will result if all required documents are not properly executed by the Winner and returned within the specified period of time. Refusal or return of such documents as non-deliverable or the Winner's noncompliance with these Official Rules will also result in disqualification, and, at Sponsors' sole discretion, may cause an alternate Winner to be chosen by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries.
WAIVER OF LIABILITY/PUBLICITY RELEASE: By participating in the Sweepstakes and submitting an entry, each Entrant agrees (i) to be bound by these Official Rules, including all entry requirements, and (ii) to waive any and all claims against Sponsors, the other MLB Entities and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, representatives and advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the Sweepstakes, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, "Released Parties") for any injury, damage or loss that may occur, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from the Entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes or from the receipt or use of the Grand Prize Package or any travel or activity related to the receipt or use of the Grand Prize Package. Each Entrant grants to Sponsors, MLBAM and each of their respective designees the right to use, reproduce, and publicize such Entrant's name, city and state of residence, voice, likeness, and any photographs, films, or recordings made of Entrant, in any manner whatsoever, at Sponsors' and/or any MLB Entity's sole discretion, including, without limitation, for advertising, promotional, or trade purposes in conjunction with this and similar promotions, in any and all media now known or hereafter developed, worldwide, in perpetuity, without notice and without further compensation or consideration to Entrant, except where prohibited by law.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Released Parties are not responsible for stolen, late, incomplete, inaccurate, misdirected, lost, damaged, garbled, delayed, or postage-due entries, email or mail; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or problems of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, network, computer, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the prize notification, the announcement of the Grand Prize Package or in any Sweepstakes-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to any Entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes or downloading materials from or use of the website. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Sweepstakes or website or attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, deception or other unfair playing practices, or intend to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other Entrant or Sponsors' representatives or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Sponsors, will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void. Any attempt to deliberately damage the content or operation of this Sweepstakes is unlawful and subject to legal action by the Sponsors, MLBAM or their respective agents. Sponsors shall have the sole right to disqualify any Entrant for violation of these Official Rules or any applicable laws relating to the Sweepstakes, and to resolve all disputes in their sole discretion. Released Parties (i) make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning any Grand Prize Package, and (ii) disclaim any implied warranty. All disputes will be resolved under applicable laws in the County of New York, State of New York. Sponsors' failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Sponsors and MLBAM reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof) should virus, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, or other causes corrupt administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper operation of the Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof). In the event of cancellation, Sponsors may select a Winner and award the Grand Prize Package by random drawing from among all non-suspect, eligible entries received up to the time of such cancellation. If, in the exclusive judgment of Sponsors and/or MLBAM, this Sweepstakes becomes compromised in any way, MLBAM and Sponsors reserve the right to cancel the Sweepstakes or to withdraw the Sweepstakes offer, to cancel any method of entry, to void any entries submitted fraudulently or select Winner from all eligible entries received prior to the act that compromised the Sweepstakes.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE CONTENT OR LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR AND MLBAM WILL DISQUALIFY ANY SUCH ENTRANT AND RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS' FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Entries generated by a script, macro or other mechanical or automated means will be disqualified. All online entries must include a valid e-mail address for the Entrant. In case of multiple entries received from any person or email address or household, only the first entry received from such person or email address or household will be considered. In the event of dispute as to the identity or eligibility of a Winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the "Authorized Account Holder" of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry provided that the Authorized Account Holder is eligible according to these Official Rules. The "Authorized Account Holder" is defined as the natural person to whom the applicable Internet service provider or other organization (such as a business or educational institution) has assigned the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
