Registration for the Scully Bobblehead Ticket Opportunity has ended.
Registration for this ticket opportunity begins at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) Friday, August 17, 2012. Registration will close at 12:00 p.m. PT, Wednesday, August 22, 2012. The Dodgers will conduct a random selection of winners from the pool of registrants. The winners will have the opportunity to buy tickets to the Vin Scully Bobblehead game, which will be played at Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles, CA on Thursday, August 30 at 7:10pm PT. The Dodgers will make winners aware of the exact number of tickets the winner has the opportunity to purchase. Exact date, times and instructions for ticket purchase will be communicated by e-mail to each applicant selected. If a selected applicant does not follow these instructions, he or she will forfeit the opportunity to purchase tickets. There is no charge to register for this opportunity. There is no obligation to buy a ticket. There is no assurance that any particular registrant will be selected. Winners may not transfer this purchase opportunity.
In order to be eligible for this opportunity, you must be eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. In addition, you must complete and submit the entry form located below during the Registration Period. Limit one entry per person. In the case of multiple entries for the same individual, only the first entry received will be considered. Only entries submitted to the Dodgers during the Registration Period will be entered in the random drawing. Entries generated by a script, macro, or other mechanical or automated means will not be valid.
A random drawing for the opportunity to purchase tickets to the Vin Scully Bobblehead game at Dodger Stadium will be held on or about Wednesday, August 22, 2012. The Dodgers will make winners aware of the exact number of tickets the winner has the opportunity to purchase. Each applicant selected will be notified on or about Thursday, August 23, 2012 via the e-mail address submitted on the registration form. Those applicants whose names are selected shall have an opportunity to purchase the Vin Scully Bobblehead game tickets at a date and time to be indicated in the e-mail. In the event that the winner does not respond to such notification by purchasing Vin Scully Bobblehead game tickets in the timeframe indicated, a disqualification will result.
Please be sure to provide us with an accurate e-mail address. Neither MLB Advanced Media, L.P. nor the Dodgers are responsible for any e-mail notifications that are bounced back or misdirected.
NOTE: MLB game dates and times are determined in the sole discretion of the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball and/or the Los Angeles Dodgers, as applicable, and may be subject to change. All tickets purchased in connection with the drawing shall be subject to those policies applicable to Dodgers ticket holders generally; as such the Dodgers from time to time in their sole discretion may amend policies.
WARNING: You may not use any tickets purchased in connection with the drawing for any promotional purposes whatsoever. Registrations have no cash redemptions or substitutions.
RIGHT TO CANCEL:
In the event that the operation, security and/or integrity of this registration is impaired in any way, for any reason, including fraud or technical problem, the Dodgers may, in its sole and absolute discretion: (a) suspend this registration to address the impairment and then resume the registration; or (b) select registrants at random from among the eligible registrations received up to the time of the impairment.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
If a selected registrant declines to purchase tickets, or in the event that any notification is returned as undelivered, the selected registrant will be disqualified and the Dodgers may elect, in its sole and absolute discretion, to permit the selection of an alternate registrant. By participating, registrants release the Los Angeles Dodgers, LLC, the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball, its Bureaus, Committees, Subcommittees and Councils, MLB Advanced Media, L.P., MLB Media Holdings, Inc., MLB Media Holdings, L.P, MLB Online Services, Inc., Major League Baseball Enterprises, Inc., Major League Baseball Properties, Inc. Baseball Television, Inc., Tickets.com, Inc., SportsOnEarth, LLC, the other Major League Baseball Clubs, and each of their subsidiaries or affiliated entities, any entity which, now or in the future, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Major League Baseball Clubs or the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball, and the owners, directors, officers, agents, players and employees of the above entities and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliated businesses, advertising and promotion agencies and the general and limited partners, officers, directors, employees and agents of each (however named or described, the "MLB Entities") from any and all liability, damages or causes of action for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property that may arise out of or be sustained in connection with the registration process, receipt, enjoyment, or use of the tickets and presence at Dodger Stadium. The MLB Entities are not responsible for: (a) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by a registrant, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the registration process; (b) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning or unavailability of any computer, cable, network, hardware, software, Internet service or website; (c) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the registration process, drawings, determination of selected registrants, on-sales, the opportunity to purchase tickets or any tickets purchased; (d) technical or human error that may occur in the administration of this registration process, drawings, determination of selected registrants, on-sales, the opportunity to purchase tickets or any tickets purchased; or (e) any injury or damage to persons or property, including but not limited to registrant's computer, hardware or software, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from registrant's participation in the registration process, drawings, determination of selected registrants, on-sales, the opportunity to purchase tickets or any tickets purchased. The registrant acknowledges that except and to the extent that the MLB Entities cannot by law exempt themselves from responsibility or liability, the MLB Entities have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee described herein; including, but not limited to, the availability of any tickets for purchase. Tickets cannot be assigned, transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.
All Internet access and usage charges are the responsibility of the registrant. If, for any reason, the Internet portion of the registration process is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the registration process, the Dodgers reserve the right in its sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the registration process and/or terminate, modify or suspend the registration process. All registrations received before the on-line portion becomes inoperable will be included in the respective on-line drawing(s). The Dodgers assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Dodgers are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any cable network or lines, telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or registration to be received by on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web-site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to registrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in the registration. In the event of a dispute, eligible electronic registrations will be considered made by the authorized account owner of the e-mail address submitted at the time of registration. Registrations generated by robots or scripts will result in immediate disqualification of any and all associated registrations. The Dodgers are not responsible for printing errors in these rules.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE REGISTRATION PROCESS IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE DODGERS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a selected registrant based on an e-mail address, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address that submitted the registration first will be declared the selected registrant. "Authorized Account Holder" is defined as the person who is assigned the e-mail address by an internet service provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
