The Marlins Foundation celebrated the 2nd Annual Jack McKeon Celebrity Golf Classic at Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne on February 18th.
With over 200 guests, Marlins players, coaches and celebrities made this year's tournament the place to be, play and raise money for charity. Prior to the tournament's shotgun start, golfers and guests enjoyed a deli style lunch and plenty of interaction with Marlins players and coaches. During the tournament, attendees enjoyed various food stations, cocktail stations, hole contests and the greatest views of Biscayne Bay.
When golfers weren't trying their luck at a hole-in-one, they were sharing unique moments with their favorite Marlins players and coaches, including event chairman and Marlins General Manager, Mike Redmond. After an exciting day on the green, attendees also enjoyed a cocktail reception accompanied with a silent auction and raffles, while listening to the upbeat music of DJ Daz. Following the reception was a gourmet buffet awards dinner where the Marlins Foundation highlighted the inspiring work of the Miracle League of Miami Dade.
With the funds raised from this event, the Marlins are able to support the construction of Miami-Dade's first Miracle League field.
