Teams 
On Sunday, March 18th , 2012 the Marlins Foundation hosted the annual Spring Training Youth Baseball Clinic at Roger Dean Stadium. Participants enjoyed the Cardinals vs. Marlins game before hitting the Marlins practice field. Participants rotated through four stations where they learned hitting skills from Marlins Infielder Greg Dobbs, pitching skills from Heath Bell, base running skills from Marlins Third Base Coach Joe Espada, and fielding skills from Marlins Outfielder Bryan Peterson. This year's Clinic raised over $5,500 for the Florida State League Scholarship Program, whose purpose is to encourage and reward school age employees or children/grandchildren of Florida State League teams employees.
