Parking in Downtown Minneapolis

Choose parking to match your desired experience. There are several options for parking in downtown Minneapolis including 7,000 parking spaces conveniently adjacent to Target Field in the ABC/Hawthorne ramps, nearly 25,000 parking spaces parking lots/ramps and metered street parking spaces throughout downtown. Keep in mind that the parking lot or ramp you have always used for Metrodome events may serve very well for Target Field events.

Ramps and Surface Lots

You will find ramps and surface lots that provide parking for thousands across downtown Minneapolis. Though there is ample parking close to Target Field, it is best to plan ahead and arrive early to find the parking spot that best matches your desired experience. On-street/Meter Parking

Parking on-street can be very cheap and sometimes free if you park on the right street at the right time. Be sure to read and understand the signs on the street where you are parking to gain information on meter and parking times. Information can also be found by clicking on the grey button below.

Parking Tips
  • Plan ahead and consider all transportation options available to you.
  • The parking lot or ramp you have always used for Metrodome events may work well for Target Field events.
  • Be sure to allow at least 10 minutes for walking; 15-20 minutes if you are parked several blocks away.
  • Rates vary based upon ramp and location. You can find rates for Minneapolis Municipal parking by clicking here »

    For non-municipal ramps/lots, rates are posted near the entrance to the parking area.
Handicapped Parking

Recommended parking for persons with disabilities is in the handicapped spaces in either the A Ramp or B Ramp. Both facilities have direct connections to Target Plaza and Target Field.


ABC Ramps

There are nearly 7,000 parking spaces conveniently adjacent to Target Field in the ABC/Hawthorne ramps. If you're planning to come early to the game and stay later after the game to enjoy the downtown amenities, the A B C Ramps may be your best bet.
