Juan Nieves' No-hitter
Brewers' first no-hitter highlights
Team Streak's 13-0 start

MEMORIAL STADIUM, BALTIMORE, MARYLAND -- Juan Nieves wrote the story and Robin Yount supplied the exclamation mark to one of the more exciting games in Brewers history. Nieves became the first Brewer and the first Puerto Rican-born Major Leaguer to toss a no-hitter when he blanked the Orioles on a cold night at Memorial Stadium, a game that ended on center fielder Yount's now-legendary catch of an Eddie Murray line drive in right-center field.

"Of course, exciting plays have to happen," Nieves said. "Balls are hit to the right guys at the right time. It's fascinating, the more years go by I stat thinking, 'That was a tough thing to do.'" With the 7-0 win, Milwaukee improved to 9-0 to start the season and eventually would run off a record 13 straight to earn the nickname "Team Streak."

"Our team at the time had a winning streak and a lot of heroes were happening every day," Nieves said. "We had individual guys that were doing incredible things." Nieves' five-walk, seven-strikeout gem was the first time the Orioles were no-hit at Memorial Stadium, and it remains the only no-no in Brewers history.
