About the All-Star Game MVP Vote
There are two ways to participate: On MLB.com and via twitter.
To voice who you think should be the 2014 All-Star Game MVP, select one player from approximately the 6th inning though the end of the game. To vote for a player, click on the selected player from either the American League or National League list of participants. MLB Advanced Media, L.P. reserves the right to validate the All-Star Game MVP Vote ballots cast, and to invalidate any such ballot in its discretion. Five entities vote for the MVP: MLB.com, the Official Scorer/BBWAA and the announcers from the All-Star Game's three broadcast rights-holders: FOX Sports, ESPN Radio, and MLB International. Immediately following the conclusion of the All-Star Game, the Ted Williams Most Valuable Player will receive the Arch Ward Trophy, which was first presented in 1962 as a tribute to the man who founded the All-Star Game in 1933.
Also, any tweet that includes a designated player hashtag during the voting period will be tabulated as part of the overall vote total. One vote per player per tweet (i.e vote for more than one player per tweet, but each tweet has a maximum of one vote for any player). Only eligible votes tweeted during the stated time will be counted. You must have a valid Twitter account and abide by the Twitter terms of service (https://twitter.com/tos). Fans may follow @MLB on the popular social networking service for any changes and for any other news during the All-Star Game.
The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball will have the final decision on all balloting matters.
