The Color Run MLB All-Star 5K, Presented by Nike


Join Major League Baseball and The Color Run during All-Star Weekend the morning of Saturday, July 11th at Sawyer Point Park near Cincinnati's Great American Ball Park for the second annual The Color Run MLB All-Star 5K, Presented by Nike.

The 5K paint race is a can't miss MLB All-Star experience that will feature mascots, special guests and baseball legends. Whether this is your first race or you're a seasoned runner, The Color Run MLB All-Star 5K, Presented by Nike is an event for the whole family.


Less about your mile time and more about have the time of your life, The Color Run MLB All-Star 5K will be a five-kilometer, un-timed race in which thousands of participants are doused from head to toe in a different colored powder at each kilometer.

The start-line window will open at 9:00am with waves going every few minutes until about 10:00am! At The Color Run MLB All-Star 5K Presented by Nike, the start line is its own pre-race party with music, dancing, warmup stretching and giveaways!

Make sure to stick around after the race as the fun will continue with an unforgettable Finish Festival featuring music, dancing, color throws, sponsor giveaways and prizes.

While no new registrations are being accepted for the 5K portion of the event, fans of all ages are still able to participate in the Finish Festival held at Sawyer Point Park. Beginning at 9:30 a.m., the festival will feature music, giveaways, contests and special activities including:

  • Color Drums event photos sponsored by T-Mobile - bang the drum to send magenta flying in the air!
  • A Slip 'n' Slide with colored water that ends in colored splash pools presented by Scotts
  • A Beer Garden created in conjunction with Anheuser-Busch
  • To help participants clean up after the event, TriHealth will create a Human Car Wash
  • Post-race snacks contributed by Kellogg's Rice Krispies Treats
  • Hydration stations throughout the event furnished by Gatorade and Aquafina

The All-Star themed course takes participants through downtown Cincinnati starting at Sawyer Point Park, passes by Great American Ball Park and then crosses into Kentucky on the Taylor Southgate Bridge. After a portion in Kentucky, the route crosses the Purple People Bridge before finishing in Sawyer Point Park where a Finish Festival featuring music, giveaways and contests will take place.
