Comments: Putkonen has been so-so as North Carolina's Sunday starter, but does possess intriguing arm strength. He throws an above-average fastball and can command it fairly well. The only problem is that his other offerings are far behind the heater. He might be better suited to a bullpen role, but the lack of a good secondary offering makes it hard to project him. Comments: There are several interesting arms in the Northeast this year and Porcello belongs at the top of that list. With an oustanding fastball and the possibility of three other above-average to average offerings, he could very well find himself one of the top high school pitchers taken in June. Comments: Poreda is one of those pitchers who is new to being good. Players who come out of nowhere like he has (with the jump in velocity, especially) have to get used to being dominant. Once he grows accustomed to that, his poise should improve by leaps and bounds. The plus fastball and the ability to command it, though, especially from the left side, should ensure Poreda hears his name called early on draft day. Enhanced Scouting Report

Comments: Patterson is a kind of all-or-nothing, hit-or-miss kind of guy. When he can get his arms extended, he's got tremendous power. But he also has some holes in his swing and sometimes tries to work counts too much at the plate, leaving some concerned about his overall hittability. He'll never be drafted for his glove. If he hits for power, he could be a star in the future. He does have a very strong commitment to Auburn and is considered a tough sign. Enhanced Scouting Report
