160Thompson, JacobU VirginiaRHPR/R6'06"2151986-11-19JR400K
Comments: Thompson entered the season as one of the more attractive college starters, but has struggled for much of his junior year. He's a pitchability-type righty and when he's going right, he mixes his full arsenal well from a downhill plane to get ground balls. While he won't go as highly as was once expected, he could end up being a steal for a team that takes him a little later and hopes that once he wipes the slate clean, he'll return to form.

70Spruill, EzekielKell HS (GA)RHPS/R6'04"1841989-09-11HS400K
Comments: The very definition of a projectable high school right-hander, Spruill has the size and flashes the pitches to be an intriguing prospect. His fastball runs up to 94 mph, though he doesn't always maintain it. He's got a smooth delivery, but a long arm sweep is an issue. There's a lot to work with here, and a team that likes projectable arms won't hesitate to take him.

550Palazzone, MichaelLassiter HS (GA)RHPR/R6'02"1901989-05-06HS400K
Comments: While not too many high school pitchers have stood out, Palazzone certainly hasn't hurt his chances. Bouncing back from a junior year that included a shoulder issue, the projectable right-hander has emerged as one of the better prep right-handers in the class. His curve is his bread-and-butter pitch and with some refinement to his delivery, his command could improve to the point where he could be a very nice starter with a three-pitch mix down the road.
