Hitting Ability:Roling is not a great hitter with a swing that can get too big at times.
Power:His best tool is his raw power. In game action, he shows more pull power, but if he elevates, he's got more than enough strength to hit it out the other way.
Running Speed:Roling has way below-average speed.
Base running:He is a base-clogger.
Arm Strength:His only good defensive tool is his above-average arm strength.
Fielding:He is not good defensively. He definitely will not catch at the next level and he's below average at first

Summary:A big, slow power-only type of guy, Roling is the type of hitter who might be best suited for an American League team in the eventuality of having to DH. His plus, plus raw power will draw some interest and he might be a Matt LeCroy-type at best, a big guy who can swing the bat who might be able to get behind the plate once in a while.
