Comments: Jackson might be among the best defensive shortstops in the Draft class. With a plus arm, good hands and excellent instincts, he's a true shortstop who'll have no problem playing the position at the big-league level. The main question is if he'll hit, though he's been productive with a line-drive, inside-out approach in the past. Just how much people believe in the bat could determine how early he gets drafted. Comments: Over the course of his junior season, Jenkins caught up to, then passed up teammate Kyle Heckathorn on Draft boards. With a terrific three-pitch mix and a good idea of how to pitch, Jenkins looks like a durable workhorse who will fit nicely into a big-league rotation in the not-too-distant future.
